Copyright Policy

DRAFT — replace with your review date. This page describes a DMCA-style notice-and-takedown process; have it reviewed for the jurisdictions you actually operate in before relying on it.
Linqt respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond.
Filing a copyright notice
If you believe that content accessible through the Service — a short link's destination, a hosted QR page, or a DDNS-hosted site — infringes a copyright you own or control, send a notice to copyright@linqt.to that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact Linqt URL (short link, QR code, or hosted page) where the allegedly infringing material can be found.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
On receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable the reported link, QR code, or hosted page, and make a reasonable effort to notify the account holder responsible for it.
Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to copyright@linqt.to that includes:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
[Placeholder — specify how long you'll wait before restoring content after a valid counter-notice, e.g. 10–14 business days, consistent with the takedown regime in your jurisdiction.]
Repeat infringers
We may suspend or terminate the account of anyone found to be a repeat infringer.
